Spaghetti

Let’s make dinner with our vanilla extract ? Bon Appétit!
Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1.5 pounds Italian sausage
  • 1 cup finely diced yellow onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons SAVA pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 (28 oz.) cans of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    Cooked pasta to your liking

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium.
  2. Add sausage and cook until brown.
  3. Remove sausage and set aside.
  4. Add onion to the pan and sauté until golden brown.
  5. Add garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low.
  6. Add sausage, celery salt, basil, oregano, bay leaf, sugar, SAVA pure vanilla extract, salt, and pepper.
  7. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and tomato sauce. Simmer for 2 hours to blend flavors.
  8. Remove bay leaf. Serve over favorite pasta.
